Dr. Bista is an associate professor of economics, Tribhuvan University (TU) working at the Department since 1999. He teaches Development Economics and Economics of Nepal and Public Economics at the Master’s Program of Economics. He teachers measurement of human development & sustainable development at MPhil level in Central Department of Rural Development Studies, TU. He did his PhD on Economics of Climate Change Vulnerability and Household Adaptation in Sotkhola water basin, Surkhet, Nepal from TU in 2017 and MPhil from Jadavapur University, Calcutta, India/SANDEE-ICIMOD in 2010. His area of expertise are macroeconomics and climate change economics. His area of interest is on development issues including climatic disaster, poverty, FDI, and trade. He has four books: Foreign Direct Investment in Nepal (2005), Economics of Nepal (2008, 2011, 2016 & 2021), and Global Role of Nepalese Forest: A case of Reduction of Emission from Deforestation and Degradation (REDD) (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2018) in Amazon and Economics cost of Armed Conflict: Valuing Armed Conflict in Nepal (2017). Recently, he serves as the editor, Journal of Benu Business Review published by Benu University, Indonesia.

Dr. Dahal is an assistant professor of economics in the department where he teaches international trade and development economics at MA Economics in the morning and Macro and Micro Economics in BA day and BBS. He served as assistant campus chief of morning shift, Faculty of Social Science and Humanities in the Patan Multiple Campus. 

Mr. Bhattarai is an assistant professor of economics in the department where he taught monetary economics. Currently he is on leave for  doing Ph.D. from Tribhuvan University. 

Mr. Pandey is an assistant professor of economics at the Department with more than 20 years of teaching experience. He teaches Macroeconomics and Monetary economics to master’s level students. His area of research is Development and Political Economics. He has published articles on various issues on the domestic economy and has presented papers on seminars concerning his subject of interest.

Mr. Rai is an assistant professor of economics at the Department with more than 10 years of teaching experieince. He teaches Microeconomic, Macroeconomic and Managerial Economic to master's level students. His area of researchg is Development and Labour Economics. He has published articles on various issues on the domestric economy and has presented paper on semiars concerning his subject of intrest.

Mr. Singh is an assistant professor of economics in the department where he taught mathematical economics and macro economics. Currently, he is on leave for doing Ph.D. from India.

Mr. Adhikari is an assistant professor of economics at the department from 2017. He teaches econometrics and macroeconomics to Master’s Level and is involved in various research projects as a researcher. His areas of interest are macroeconomics and survey analysis. He has published research works in academic journals. He is also the editorial member of the Economic Journal of Development Issues published by the Department of Economics, Patan Multiple Campus.

Mr. Shrestha is an assistant professor of economics. He has just joined in the department. He has more than 5 years   teaching experience on financial economics and mathematical economics at MA economics. He teaches financial economics and mathematical economics to MA students. He did M.A. economics from the Central Department of Economics, Tribhuvan University.  

Laba Kumar Shrestha is an assistant professor of economics at the Department of Economics with more than 30 years of teaching and research experience. He teaches Micro Economics to Bachelor’s level and History of Economic Thought and Development and Planning to Master’s level students.

Mrs Sharma is an assistant professor serving in the department since 2004. She teaches development economics at B.A. Economics in the day class.  

Dr. Dahal is a visiting Professor in the Department of Economics, Patan Multiple Campus. He teaches specially  theories of macro economics subject to first and second semester MA students. He retired from Tribhuvan University services in 2020 as per the age bar of the university.  

Dr. Acharya is a visiting Professor of economics at the department, Patan Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University. He teaches micro Economics and environmental and natural resources economics at MA economics. He just retired from his university service as per age bar of the university.

Mr. Humagai is an assistant lecturer of economics in the department. He did MPhil in economics. Currently, he teaches macro and micro economics at BA program in the morning shift and at BBS in the day shift. 

Mrs. Poudel is an assistant lecturer of economics in the department.  Currently, she teaches  development economics subject at BA program in the morning and day shift. Besides, she teaches mathematical economics at MA level.

Mr  Khanal is an assistant lecturer of economics in the department. Currently, he teaches macro economics at BA program in the morning .
